THE JET'S RX PLAYS YTD: 91-58-1 (61.07) +61.55 UNITS

Now that I'm on post review, I think it's time that I make the best of my time here. See, I've short changed THERX.COM since I came here. I mentioned before that I post all my analyses at other sites and don't have time doing that everwhere else. Because I'm free spirited, I hate cutting and pasting everywhere I go.

So I've tied up loose ends and said good-bye's to all my other sites for the last couple of day's knowing all the while I was going to give all of you my best and redeem myself at the same time. I've been accused of just looking at standing tables in this room for my entire arsenal of Handicapping. And That's all my fault. I never gave you guy's the chance to think otherwise. I was alway's too busy at other sites, and never took this one very serious.

That all changes today! From here on out, you will never think of me as a kid on a playground, rather you will NOW think of me as a friend to lean on for good thought out advise for Soccer picks. You will no longer see me on other streets besides this one right here. I told all of you that NOBODY knows players and teams from top to bottom like me. Maybe as good, but NOT better! And you will see that in my future capping.

As far as the big 10 and 20 unit plays, that I will keep to myself from now on. I'll never change going after the big money, but I'll keep it very conservative in here from now on. As for the bashing, taunting and antagonizing? I'm done with that. I guess I don't have a choice since I'm now on post review, so in that respect you're safe from all future antics.

In this three (3) day thread, you'll see anywhere from 3-6 GRADED plays to choose from along with my IN-DEPTH ANALYSES. Now, I'm a stat guy. So much of what I do and say has alot to do with stats. But mostly I'm a match-up guy. As you already know, I look for mismatches in the lower tables with teams that that play with alot of speed and score a Sh*tload of goals, and contrary to what some believe here, there's nothing wrong with that as long as you use common sense and good money management decisions of which I've not done here until now.

So with no further ado, here's the first play I made a decision on......

THURSDAY JULY, 7TH.

SWEEDEN: SVENSKA CUPEN ( 3 UNITS )

NORRKOPING ML (+150) over SUNDSVALL($300/$450)

Norrkoping currently sits in 8th place in the Sweedish Superettan division. They are only 5-5-4 with 20 pts, but play very solid defense. In the 14 matches they have given up only 18 goals for an average of 1.29 per match. Now even though they don't light up the scoreboard like I usually like, they do play more than adequate in big games this year. Earlier they beat AIK 2-0 at home, and played to a draw 2-2 to a healthy Ljungskile team on the road. As far as the lower table teams go they beat V.Frolunda pretty good 3-1, and they are coming off a fresh win on the road by shutting down Vasteras 2-0!

Now I don't have to spend too much time talking about Norrkoping's opponent Sundsvall because there just isn't too much to say other than they are at the very bottom of the Sweedish Allsvenskan division. Sundsvall is 3-1-8 with only 10 points and as I said sit in 14th place. Even more pittiful is the fact they are 0-0-6 on the road in league play with only 3 goals scored and given up 12! This pathetic team doesn't have a single attacker with more than 2 goals! Heck, Sundsvall has been held scoreless 5 times in 12 matches. And in those 12 matches they only have 13 total goals. The fact that they only have 1 draw tells me that they are almost never in a match period!

Now you couple all that with the X-FACTOR.......what's the x-factor? His name is ANDREAS ALM! He is Norrkoping's best striker with six (6) goals. Of those 6 goals, 3 of them have come at the 81, 89, and 90 minute marks! When it comes to crunch time, ALMS just seems to switch to a gear that no one is ever ready for. Norrkoping also has two other speedy attackers in BRUNO SANTOS and DAGO FUNES. Between them, they have another 8 goals, and for a team not known for their scoring, that's a pretty good frontline. So at +150, I see nothing but value here. Good luck!

PREDICTION: NORRKOPING 4 SUNDSVALL 1

THURSDAY JULY, 7TH.

FINLAND: VEIKKONEN ( 2 UNITS )

FC HAKA H/T (-137) over AC ALLIANSSI ($274/$200)

Well here's an interesting one. Two teams that hate to score and love to settle for draw's. FC HAKA (4-7-1) is a scrappy defending champion that has a tendency to jump out of the gate on you and slow down as the match progresses. AC ALLIANSSI (3-7-1) was a runner-up that tends to not do either. Rather they will sacrifice all offense to just stop you period! Result? Six (6) of their seven (7) draws have come in the last ten (10) matches. Now at home Haka is (4-2-0) and scored 5 goals in two games before getting a draw in their last game 0-0.

From what I have read, Manager Oli Huttunen has implemented some new secret schreme that's been freeing up fellow strikers TONI LEHTINEN and VALERI POPOVITCH to get clearer looks to the goal. It seems it's worked with LEHTINEN getting the hat-trick vs KOO-TEE-PEE on June, 30th. In that match FC HAKA jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead, only to run out of gas around the 65 minute mark to see Tee-Pee take a 3-2 lead before it was tied in the 85 minute 3-3. Before that game Haka also got a quick jump on TP-47 2-0 at Halftime only to fizzle out in the second half but, it stayed 2-0. I think it's clear what happens with this home team here. They haven't found a way to play a full 90 minutes of soccer yet. So until they do, I settle for 45 minutes. With the history of draws this year, and the fact that these two squads just don't score a whole lot, it's obviously safe to also go with the under here as well. But for now, I'll stay with 1H.

PREDICTION: FC HAKA 1 AC ALLIANSSI 0 (HALFTIME)

Nevermind my spelling, it's 5-0 FC HAKA in the first 30 minutes! I guess the influx of all those new players for Allianssi, proved to be too much for a new coach to handle. I know of at least 3 of those players were starters today. Easy 2 unit winner!

FRIDAY JULY, 8TH

TWO (2) GAME PARLAY

FH HAFNARFJORDUR (ICE) / FHK LIEPAJAS METALURGS (LAT)

RISK: $750.00 WIN: $400.00

When I introduced these two teams to you the last couple of weeks, some of you thought I was making these teams up, But you soon found out I wasn't. Infact I noticed right afterward a couple of cappers saw the value in these new teams and were able to experience what I had known for some time. THEIR WINNERS!

( FH HAFNARFJORDUR ) is a high wire act that no one can seem to catch. You can find them deep in the Iceland Premeier League. FH is 9-0-0 with 27 pts, and carries a 26-5 goal advantage. They are 4-0-0 at home with an 11-2 goals advantage. These guy's all pass like Magic Johnson! You'd think they were passing with their hands. They are so good and cocky, that they are mostly always playing in a 3-4-3 set. Their back three defensemen are all tall and lightning quick, so if mistakes are made at midfield, they just seem to always be there. This team is LOADED with veterans from top to bottom. Players from 'Stabaek', 'Lillestrom', 'Odense', and 'Esbjerg' just to name a few. FH has two strikers that would eat up any defensemen in any table, at any level. The First is a 32 year old named TRYGGVI GUDMUNSSON. He already has 11 goals and is best known for p*ssing off oposing players and getting them yellow cards by the handfull. He also has 3 multiple goal games, two of which he scored 3 each! The other Forward is ALLAN BORGVARDT who has 8 goals himself. I can go on all day about this team and their manager OLAFUR JOHANNESSON, BUT I'd never have enough time to get to the other team. Bottom line is, it doesn't seem to matter who FH plays, or on how many days rest they only get, they just win in big fashion always. BTW for all you skeptics out there, you can find a pen pal like I have in Iceland that will send you VHS (Full) games in return for old Van Halen Rocker Magazines, or just good ole 70's style KISS belt buckles. These guys love american Rock n roll!

( FHK LIEPAJAS METALURGS ) is in the Lativa Division 1 table. Once again a dominate high scoring team about to runaway with a league title. Their numbers are like FH, in that, they are staggering! So here's just a few.....(11-2-1) and 35 pts. 37-12 goals advantage. 7-0-0 at home with a 26-7 GA. And today at 8:AM PST., they are playing the WORST team in their division! LOL...Olimps Riga (3-0-11), has scored just 9 goals in 14 matches, and has given up an astounding 35 goals against! Olimps Riga on the road this year is 1-0-6 and has a GA of 4-14. FHK LIEPAJAS is averaging 3.71 goals at home. They have scored 7,6,5,5,4,3 in their own 14 matches. FHK has already taken these poor saps out 3-0 at home and 6-0 on the road! So look no further for an easy two game winner!

This parlay will be the only play for Friday 7/08/05. Seven (7) units is plenty for the day.

SUNDAY JULY, 10TH

SWEDEN: SUPERETTAN ( 3 UNITS )

AIK STOCKHOLM ML (-103) over TRELLEBORG ($309/$300) PINNACLE

There just aren't many soccer teams playing with the same form as AIK. At 9-3-2 seems pretty average for a second place team right? Well, when I started to dissect this match-up, I found some amazing trends. AIK, in their last eight games are 7-1-0. In that span, thay have outscored their opponents 22-2, and six (6) of the wins coming by way of shutouts! Is that crazy or what? Listen to this....On the road AIK is 5-1-1 with a 15-4 goals advantage. They are 4-0 in their last four, and all have been shutouts with a 12-0 GA. I've seen these guy's play a couple of times, and I don't recall ever seeing a team with a couple of Midfielders that can score like an attacker. I'm talking about MID-MATS RUBARTH and MID-DENNIS OSTLUNDH. Both have 4 goals apiece and can score from just about anywhere! Even fellow Midfielder DANIEL TJERNSTROM has two goals himself. AIK Manager RIKARD NORLING loves to substitute his strikers in-and-out like fresh horses. He uses 6 that can score on you early or in the 90th minute, ANDRAES ANDERSON (3), DANIEL HOCH (3), ARASH TALEBINEJAD (3), KRISTIAN HAYNES (2), GORAN MARKLUND (2) and ANDREAS ERIKSSON (2). I'm showing you all these guys because most teams only have about 2 or 3 successful attackers. If any of you know anything about me, it's I seldom put my $$$ on road teams. If AIK was at home, this would be a minimum 5 unit play. Look, we all know TRELLEBORG is no slouch with a 5-2-0 home record, and a 16-2 goals advantage, But they are just not in the same playing form as AIK 1-3-2 and a 7-10 GA.

PREDICTION: AIK STOCKHOLM 2 TRELLEBORG 0

Alright Jet, I'll ask your opinion of this Trinidad game as well, since it has been brought to light, not with your recent success, but your knowledge of matches, that you actually can cap soccer games instead of doing a 2-second standings check. Check out the Gold Cup thread I started. Looking forward to your input.

Everything buried between us now? Let's go make some cash.
